About the event
Our sensory motor systems are affected by our daily lives, our habits, stresses and traumas. Our daily movement patterns create habitual muscular contractions which we can no longer relax voluntarily. This is known as Sensory Motor Amnesia (SMA).
SMA becomes so deeply ingrained in our sensory motor system to the point where these patterns become involuntary and unconscious. This results in the stiffness, soreness and achiness we associate with old age. The truth is that these are all learned behaviours that we can change. The body can be buoyant, resilient and move with ease at any age. It simply depends on what we teach it.
This is an online workshop event through Zoom. After registration and payment you will receive an email confirmation with Zoom Login Details.
Bonus: Digital on Demand Members with an Annual Subscription can attend for free by using promo code SMAFeb21
