About the event
Our nervous system shifts into a sympathetic state when a threat is perceived such as prolonged stress, big life events or the push to keep going. Learn some of the classic symptoms of nervous system overdrive and how it affects your physical, mental and emotional health and your pain. Understand why it is critical to learn how to develop a practice for slowing down so you can breathe better, regain mental clarity, better digestion, sleep better and release your pain.
Stress affects your breathing, digestion, mental clarity, and over time, nervous system dysregulation will affect your long term health. When you have been in pain for a long time your nervous system becomes so sensitized that even the smallest inputs can feel overwhelming. Explore with us some of our favourite practices and discover how good these practices can make you feel in a short period of time.
