About the event
Tight muscles restrict your ability to move through a full range of motion, particularly in your hips, shoulders, and spine. This can limit your ability to make a full turn during the backswing and follow-through, leading to a shorter swing and reduced power. One of the best ways to release that tension and improve flexibility is through a groundbreaking new system called Somatics - brain retraining that resets the length of your muscles.
The Somatic movements and golf specific strength training that you will learn in our upcoming Golf Pre-Season Training Series will help to release muscle tension by resetting the length of your muscles and improve joint mobility. This increased flexibility allows for a wider range of motion in your golf swing, enabling you to generate more power and efficiency!
The first portion of the class with be with Nicole Ablack-Ramkay, Pain Resolution Therapist, SomaYoga Therapist ( https://www.resolvepainguru.com/work-with-nicole ) and the second half will be golf specific strength training & conditioning with Matt McKeown (co-owner of Highland Fitness & Wellness in Scarborugh, Ontario, www.highlandfit.com )
